About Missouri Reconciling United Methodists
What We Do
Missouri RUMs helps connect people across our annual conference so we can support each other in the work to make the UMC in MO more inclusive for our LGBTQ+ siblings. We connect people with resources (many from RMN), host events, provide speakers and more. An e-newsletter goes out least least quarterly. We have a private Facebook group for online conversation. An annual gathering is hosted in person each year at Annual Conference and other events (networking, book study, strategy sessions, etc.) may happen over Zoom.
Our Team
Our board is made up of volunteers from across Missouri, an intentional mixture of laity and clergy and folks from small towns as well as our big cities. if you're interested in joining the board or helping with our events, please let us know!
